The author entering the Yukon Territory. This photo was taken by a very nice tourist from Singapore, and I returned the favor by taking her picture for her. Unfortunately, she spoke no English and was unable to understand as I tried to explain that my finger had been in front of the lens when I took her picture. Smiling and babbling in some incomprehensible language, she grabbed her camera from me and darted back to her tour bus. Oh, well.
