Between May 23th and June 12th, 2008, I will ride from Yorktown, Virginia to the Arctic Circle in Yukon Territory, Canada, and then back to Yorktown. I am doing this to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Expected total distance: 9-10,000 miles. Total time I'll be gone: 3 weeks. Fund raising goal: $25,000.
Matthew Wilbert is the young man I am riding in memory of. Matthew lost his battle with a brain tumor April 4, 2003 at the age of 10 years and 9 days. This website : http://www.caringbridge.org/va/matthew/ is dedicated to his memory, and will help you know what a special person he was. He is missed everyday.
